Important Changes

Common Application
We encourage you to use the Common Application system when you apply to the ILA. You may also choose to apply directly through the ILA office.

Application Period
The ILA follows the semester system. There is ONE application period in every semester.

Two-stage Screening
Admission decisions are made in two stages. First, all the submitted documents are screened carefully. Based on this assessment, a select number of successful applicants will be shortlisted and invited to participate in the next stage of the process. This second stage consists of a substantial interview, either in person or by videoconferencing.

English Language Proficiency
  • TOEFL(iBT) 85 or above
  • IELTS(Academic Module) 6.5 or above
  • ACT Combined English/Writing (Writing Test Score): 22 or above
  • SAT Critical Reading and Writing sections 510 or above
  • Redesigned SAT (score to be announced in May 2016 on the ILA website)

Note

The 2017 Application Guide and Form is currently being prepared and we are scheduled to complete it in May 2016.
